Leave

Request and manage leave with a clear approval flow and policy rules.

Request leave

  1. Open HR → Leave.
  2. Click New Request.
  3. Choose leave type (Annual, Sick, etc.).
  4. Pick start/end dates. The duration auto-updates via a smart date UX.
  5. Add a note if needed and submit.

Approvals

  • Requests move through the configured approval chain.
  • Approvers can approve/reject with comments.

Workflow states

  • Draft → Submitted → Approved/Rejected → Archived
  • You can withdraw or edit before final approval (if permitted).

Policy highlights

  • Accrual is applied per policy settings.
  • Carry-over applies to Annual and Sick only.
  • PDF summary counts used days as the duration of the request.

Balances and accrual

  • Balances reflect accrual up to the selected date.
  • Exceeding balance may block submission or require justification depending on policy.

Tips

  • If duration looks off, reselect dates; the form recalculates automatically.
  • Check your balance before submitting to avoid delays.

Troubleshooting

  • Requested days don’t match? Reselect start/end; duration recalculates automatically.
  • Can’t submit? Check required fields and available balance.
